Morland was found dead on Monday, just hours after posting an ominous tweet that read: "In case we don't come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm.". The search for Strickland (pictured and circled with his band, center) was called off Monday evening but will resume Tuesday morning.
Morland's eerily prophetic tweet, above, was sent out a few hours before the pair left for their trip
Twenty-four hours after they left, family became worried when the two fell out of touch. At around midnight on Monday, the boat the pair were in was found capsized in Kaw Lake, according to News9. Morland's body was recovered 11.10 Monday, according to US Weekly.
Morland was an avid hunter who worked at Gellco Outdoors.
'Everyone please say special prayers for the family of Chase Morland. They were very close friends and it is such a heartbreaking loss,' the band posted on Monday.
Strickland's father, Randy, posted on Facebook that his son had not yet been found but their dog, Sam, who was also with them on the trip, had been recovered alive.
He and his beauty queen wife, Helen, (above) have been married a little over a year. Helen has asked that fans pray for her husband and said that the search will resume this morning, with a sonar boat.
On Twitter, the former Miss Arkansas wrote: 'Craig is still missing. The search has been called for the night. It will resume again in the morning with a sonar boat. Still need prayers.'
The band was scheduled to perform at Rev Room in Little Rock on New Year's Eve and then in Oklahoma City on January 4.
